Don’t Stop:
Attitude determines much in our lives.
Looking positively to the future can bolster your goals.
Perspective especially matters for someone with Parkinson’s.
So staying positive, even amid Parkinson’s, can help strengthen you.
As a matter of reference, do you remember everything from yesterday?
Forget yesterday, live now, and what’s to follow can be even better.
The immediate future is ahead for you, the cusp of questions answered.
Even with Parkinson’s, stay focused and positive, and see what happens.
Wake up tomorrow, look at the day ahead, and forget what is behind you.
Take hold of the morning as you spring forward to the afternoon.
Catch your breath as the evening hours begin to bloom.
Energize the time between night and sleep, and enjoy your life.
Try to be positive and align your future with hope remaining.
Stay persistent, as only time can tell you the outcome.
Resolve to be strong as you navigate the daily disturbances of Parkinson’s.
Keep your aim forward to tomorrow to renew this cycle of life.
Don’t stop. Take on Parkinson’s head-on.
Don’t stop challenging your strength of thoughts.
Don’t stop. Strive for the best possible result.
Don’t stop believing in your resilience in your life’s battle with Parkinson’s.

Don’t Stop (Fleetwood Mac Song): “Don’t Stop” is a rock group Fleetwood Mac song. It was a single taken from the band’s hit album Rumours (1977). The song was written by band member Christine McVie. The song was sung by Lindsey Buckingham (guitar) and Christine McVie (keyboard). They alternated verses one and two and sang the third verse together.
“Don’t Stop” is focused on being positive in life. The song allowed Christine McVie to express her feelings after her separation and divorce from Fleetwood Mac’s bass guitarist, John McVie. She said this about the song, “‘Don’t Stop’ was just a feeling. It just seemed to be a pleasant revelation to have that ‘yesterday’s gone’,”
The song’s opening verse sets the stage for looking at life a new way, “If you wake up and don’t want to smile / If it takes just a little while / Open your eyes and look at the day / You’ll see things in a different way.” McVie wants one to know that tomorrow is going to be even better than the day it replaces when she sings, “Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow / Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here / It’ll be better than before / Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone.” The song continues a positive vibe about the future, and “Don’t Stop” has always been included in a group of songs that portray hope and a positive view of tomorrow.
Although not my favorite Fleetwood Mac song, Don’t Stop has a catchy riff and a positive, live-life-forward message. There are so many great songs from Fleetwood Mac (including Landslide, Monday Morning, Rhiannon, World Turning, and Say You Love Me) and Rumours (including Don’t Stop, Gold Dust Woman, Go Your Own Way, The Chain, I Don’t Want to Know, and Never Going Back Again) albums it would be difficult for me to pick a single favorite song. Interestingly, Don’t Stop became a massive asset to President Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign in 1992.
“Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow / Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here / It’ll be better than before / Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone.” Don’t Stop by Fleetwood Mac

Don’t Stop Lyrics:
If you wake up and don’t want to smile
If it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You’ll see things in a different way
Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
It’ll be better than before
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone
Why not think about times to come
And not about the things that you’ve done
If your life was bad to you
Just think what tomorrow will do
Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
It’ll be better than before
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone
All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don’t believe that it’s true
I never meant any harm to you
Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
It’ll be better than before
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone
Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
It’ll be better than before
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone
don’t you look back
(Ooh) don’t you look back
(Ooh) don’t you look back
(Ooh) don’t you look back
